Trust & safety

Staying safe on Kudora

Most appointments happen in someone's home, hotel room or workplace. These are the controls we run, and the steps we ask you to take.

What we do

  • Providers submit business and identity documents that are reviewed before their listing goes live.
  • Customers verify their identity with a Ghana Card and a live selfie before booking.
  • Logos, intro videos and proof-of-work photos are moderated before they appear publicly.
  • Each booking carries a reference code and a verification code so both sides can confirm who they are meeting.
  • Live location sharing for pickups and travel is opt-in, pausable and ends when the booking completes.
  • Payments run through a regulated processor with a full payment trail on every booking.

What we ask of customers

  • Check the provider's name and booking reference before letting anyone in.
  • Keep the appointment in a room where you are comfortable, and tell someone the time and place.
  • Pay through the app so you have a receipt and a refund path.
  • Never share your mobile money PIN with anyone, including someone claiming to be support.

What we ask of providers

  • Arrive on time, in person, as the verified business on the listing.
  • Bring clean, sanitised tools and follow basic hygiene practice for every client.
  • Confirm the booking code before starting, and never ask for payment outside the app.
  • Report unsafe conditions instead of continuing the appointment.

Reporting a problem

Report anything unsafe immediately from the booking page, or contact support. In an emergency, contact the Ghana Police Service on 191 first, then tell us so we can suspend the account while we investigate.
