About Kudora
Kudora is a Ghana-based booking marketplace for barbering, salon and laundry services. Customers book a verified provider for a set date and time, at home, at an office, hotel or Airbnb, or in-store.
What we sell
- Barbering and grooming appointments (cuts, fades, beard work, shaves).
- Salon and beauty appointments (braids, weaves, wigs, makeup, nails).
- Laundry services with drop-off, or pickup and delivery, priced per item.
We do not sell physical goods. Every transaction is a booked service delivered by an independent business listed on the platform.
How pricing works
Each provider sets their own prices. Before you confirm, the booking screen shows the exact amount you will pay: the service subtotal, a call-out fee if the provider travels to you, and an urgency fee only if you choose a priority booking. There are no hidden customer service charges added at checkout.
For laundry, the initial amount is an estimate based on the items you declare. The final amount is confirmed after the provider inspects the load, and your invoice always reflects the amount actually charged.
Payments and refunds
Payments are collected by mobile money (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo) through our payment processor, or in cash on service where the provider offers it. Card details are never stored by us. You receive a numbered invoice with the payment reference for every paid booking.
Cancellations made more than two hours before the appointment are refunded in full; cancellations inside two hours are refunded at 50%. See the cancellation and refund policy for the full rules and dispute process.
How providers are vetted
- Business and identity documents are uploaded and reviewed before a listing goes live.
- A one-time provider registration fee of GHS 470.00 covers verification and onboarding.
- Logos, intro videos and proof-of-work photos are moderated before they appear publicly.
- Payout wallets are verified by one-time code before any commission payout is released.
We charge participating businesses a commission on completed bookings. That commission is deducted from the provider's payout — it is never added to the customer's price.
