Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Kudora collects, why we collect it, how it is protected and what control you have over it.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number.
  • Booking data: service selected, appointment time, service address, landmark, contact phone and any instructions you provide.
  • Identity verification data: Ghana Card details and a live selfie, used only to confirm you are who you say you are.
  • Payment data: mobile money number, amount, and the processor's payment reference and status. We never see or store your PIN.
  • Location data: live position pings, only while you have location sharing switched on for an active pickup or trip.
  • Technical data: device and browser information, and error logs used to keep the service working.

How identity data is protected

Ghana Card numbers are stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash together with a masked display value, so the full number cannot be reconstructed from our records. Card images and selfies are stored in a private, access-controlled bucket, are visible only to the account holder and authorised reviewers, and are purged once verification is complete. Verification expires after 12 months, after which you are asked to re-verify.

Location sharing

Live location is optional and only used to show pickup or travel progress on an active booking. You can pause or stop sharing at any time from the tracking map, and sharing ends automatically when the booking is completed.

Who we share data with

  • The provider you book with receives the details needed to deliver the service: your name, contact phone, service address and instructions.
  • Our payment processor receives the information needed to take payment and issue refunds.
  • Our notification providers receive the phone number or push token needed to deliver booking updates.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Retention

Booking, invoice and payment records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax and dispute-resolution purposes. Identity images are purged after review. Other account data is deleted when you delete your account.

Your rights

You can access and correct your profile data from your account page, request a copy of your data, object to a specific use, or request deletion of your account. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
